Harvest and Planning Calculators

Plan harvest quantities, timing, labor, containers, storage, and marketable yield.

Define which yield is being counted

Gross harvested weight, marketable produce, edible yield, packed quantity, and saleable output answer different questions. Use one definition throughout a calculation and label it in the harvest record.

Tie a per-plant or per-area rate to a cultivar, site, crop stage, and production period. A rate from another season is a scenario assumption until current observations support it.

Compare the plan with the picked crop

Ripening is rarely uniform. Harvest frequency, grading, weather, pest damage, storage loss, and customer specifications can change usable output after the crop reaches maturity.

Record actual yield, labor time, container use, and losses on the same basis as the plan. Those paired records help separate a poor assumption from an unusual field season.
